Tell us a bit about yourselves, Rick & Liz.
We are a husband and wife team. We love to make cool, functional home decor items.

We love working with wood! We like to come up with unique ideas to make your life easier and more organized. Many times we come up with new designs that we ourselves need to make our home run more smoothly.

Tell us a bit about your Etsy shop.
I (Liz) has been selling her artwork on etsy since August of 2007. After my husband, Rick, lost his job of 11 years, we decided to go for it and open up another shop where we can both create things together. I learned a lot from running my first shop on etsy, so it was much easier to set up and start our new one. Our goal is to completely support our family (we have two daughters, Molly 16 and Samantha 7) with our handmade goods. We're getting there!

What advice would you give other Etsy sellers?
~ Develop great products that reflect who you are.
~ Work and work and work on your pictures (clear, bright, different angles, with plain backgrounds!)
~ Be careful with time on the computer.
~ Try to come up with a routine and stick to it.
~ Be serious about great customer service.
~ Be cheerful to fellow sellers - encourage!!!
