New Look from Dumplin Design Studio & Ad Space Giveaway

Monday, February 22, 2010

(Psst... today is the last day to enter the giveaway from ClaySwan!)

You may have noticed a "little" change around here... I hope you likie as much as I do. I'm more than THRILLED with my brand-spankin'-new blog design courtesy of fellow Etsian, Shay Bocks of Dumplin Design Studio! Shay comes HIGHLY recommended. The process was fast and painless. In fact, it was even FUN! She sent a little questionnaire to make sure she understood exactly what I was looking for, and it must have worked, because she nailed it on the very first try! The best part is that the new design offers PRIME AD SPACE right there in top right sidebar for a few of you lucky Etsy sellers! (Just make sure to enter the free giveaway below.) And make sure to keep Dumplin Design Studio in mind for your graphic design needs, too!

Tell us a bit about yourself, Shay.
I am a stay-at-home mom and army wife who LOVES graphic design. We currently live in Fort Knox, KY but Chesapeake, VA will always be our home.

Tell us a bit about your Etsy shop.
History: Dumplin Design Studio started out as a small Myspace site called Bocks Creations. After the birth of my son in April 2008, I found myself up 3 times a night with nothing to occupy my time and keep me awake while feeding my baby. I decided it was time to take on a project and that became Bocks Creations. About six months later, I teamed up with Lisa at Carried Away then later branched out on my own with Dumplin Designs. At the inception, it was just a myspace page providing free and custom graphics. In August 2009, DumplinDesigns.com was born and later migrated to DumplinDesignStudio.com.

Mission: To provide high-quality design at affordable prices.

What I Offer:

* Blogger Template Design

* Cards & Stationary Design

* Business Identity Design

* Event & Party Design

* And More!

Hi,
I just found your blog today, and couldn't believe what a great giveaway you're having (though it looks like there is always a great giveaway around here).

My shop is
www.milemarker.etsy.com
where I sell my fine art photography. I like to share the details I see in life and the beauty around me. My favorite subjects are flowers and animals, but I find beauty in a lot of places.

I would love to win ad space. I am the owner/creator of Holden's Landing - www.holdenslanding.etsy.com - and I make functional and fabulous cloth diapers, organic bedding and children's clothing. Holden's Landing has been around since 2004, and this year, one of my business resolutions is to have more of a presence on etsy, so this would fit right in!

Thank you!

Hi! I am a serious craftaholic and when I stumbled upon your blog, I feel the love! I love all the shops you feature and the great interviews. My etsy shop is all handmade items by me that are inspired by Hawaii. I make shell jewelry, knit items, plush toys, quilted items, keychains, and semi-precious stone jewelry. I love designing and I make pretty much everything! If I see something I like, I usually go home and make something that will suit my needs and style. I have only been selling on etsy for about a year and a half, but I have been a part of etsy for 3 years.
I think I would be a great fit for your blog because my items are varied and would interest a wide range of readers. Everything is one of a kind and designed by me, many items have pieces of Hawaii included in them.

Hi,
My name is Katrinna, and I have the Etsy shop Bijoux Rouge (http://bijouxrouge.etsy.com). I live in a small city in British Columbia, and as per Etsy, I handmade everything in my shop.
I believe I'd be a good Etsian to interview because not only do I love to craft, but I love to write and entertain. I also have a blog at which I interview and feature sellers from Etsy - http://sheshoes.blogspot.com - it focuses on handmade fashion.

Hi There! :D

Firstly, thanks for organising such an awesome opportunity for us Etsy sellers. Great idea!

My name is Michelle and I run Antithesis (www.antithesis.etsy.com OR www.antithesis-online.com). I am a law student from Singapore who is currently studying in the United Kingdom.

My etsy space is more than just a store for me. It's a place where I can unleash all my creative juices on the world and spread the loveliness of jewellery, colour and wearable art in general. I make various kinds of jewellery using origami, vintage pieces, new pieces, basically anything that can possibly be used! My style is quirky, colourful and aims to give my buyers something different in their wardrobe.

I believe I'd be a good Etsian for this opportunity because I strongly believe in handmade anything. Originality and creativity are the most important aspects of my store.

I have been a member of Etsy for 3 years but only recently started selling. I would love to get to know more artists and members of this great community :)
